The major components of the infrastructure project consist of the following: o Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) o Effluent Lagoon o Water Treatment Plant and Wells o Site Water Main connecting the North and south Water Towers o North Water Tower There are additional major components of the infrastructure that are performed under a separate contract. The construction of these components will not be under the purview of the CM/GC. However, coordination efforts with other entities may be required. These major components are listed below: o Approximately 36.5 miles of force main beginning at the Northwest Corner of the Megasite in Haywood County ending with the outfall at Mississippi River in Tipton County at the USACE casting field. (Performed under a separate contract). o Intermediate Pump Station that will handle treated effluent at a rate of 4.6 MGD per day approximately 15 miles from the proposed WWTP located in the Northwest Corner of the Megasite. (Performed under a separate contract). o South Water Tower (Performed under a separate contract) . The remaining components of the Infrastructure in which the CM services are being solicited are described below: o Construction of a WWTP- Construction of a new green field plant to utilize SBR technology. The plant will be designed assuming pretreatment standards for industries prior to conveying wastewater to the plant. The proposed plant will be designed to treat a total of approximately 4.6 MGD of wastewater. The facility will be designed assuming continuous operation. The wastewater treatment plant facility will also include a pump station which will connect to the force main (separate contract) leaving the site going to a pump station (separate contract) near Covington. Coordination with other entities may be required around force main and pump station elements. o Lagoon (for Effluent storage) - The lagoon will be designed to hold 14 days of effluent. As the WWTP will be designed to run continuous, the lagoon(s) will be designed as overflow for effluent or when maintenance of the effluent force main is required. Lagoon(s) will be designed with mowable slopes due to predicted utilization of them requires they will remain dry the majority of the time. The Project shall be located in Fayette, Haywood, and Tipton Counties, Tennessee.
