Site work and paving for a road / highway in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project will upgrade 117th Street (future CSAH 32) between CSAH 71 (Rich Valley Boulevard) and Trunk Highway 52 in Inver Grove Heights to a 2-lane divided roadway meeting A-Minor Arterial roadway standards. The project will improve roadway operations, make safety improvements, and provide for increased traffic levels. Inver Grove Heights will lead the Preliminary Engineering and Design phases. Dakota County will lead the ROW Acquisition and Construction phases. As of January 11, 2023, this project is currently in the Dakota County 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Funding for this project is allotted in the County's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
