Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This project is being let using a new single trade bidding and contracting process. When 85% or more of the construction cost of a project could be completed by a Single Trade Contractor (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection), the Department may bid and contract all work of that construction project directly to a Single Trade Contractor. The State will enter into a single contract with the lowest, qualified, responsible, certified single trade MEP contractor. Single trade MEP contractors may bid on single trade projects up to their current division of work certification level for that trade. All Work for this project will be awarded to a single trade MECHANICAL contractor. Bidders shall submit a Single Base Bid for all Work. In general, the work consists of replacing the obsolete and separate building automation systems that control climate in the patient care and support buildings at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute. This project will include new controls and mechanical equipment upgrades in the Administration Building, Food Service, Sherman Hall, Gordon Hall, Petersik Hall, North Cottage, South Cottage, and the Chapel.
