Renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Lucan, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 22,000-square-foot, two-story above grade clubhouse / community center; swimming pool; and for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Construction of an addition and renovations to the existing facilities. Scope to include: a new swimming pool; new washroom; new lobby; meeting rooms; bar overlooking the arena. TIMELINE: Project was awarded via tender at the January 18, 2022 council meeting. Construction anticipated to commence shortly. *Project is funded in part through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) grant. *Project has received funding from all levels of government as follows: Federal government will be providing over $3 million, the province will be contributing more than $2.5 million, and the municipality will cover the remainder of the costs while looking for the community's help through fundraising efforts.
