Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Lethbridge, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,600-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The scope of this project will include the construction of a both a Community Pavilion & Plaza and Picnic Shelter & Public Washroom facilities: The new Community Pavilion & Plaza will include a community meeting room that can accommodate 50-60 people, a concession area, public washrooms, change rooms and a mechanical room that will service the future adjacent spray park. The entrance plaza to the pavilion will accommodate community gatherings and displays or exhibitions. The entire facility will be open year round and located centrally which will be a focal point of the park. The adjacent spray park/splash pad, although not part of this project, will be in construction simultaneously with this project. The successful proponent will need to coordinate both mechanical and electrical connections. The Picnic Shelter & Washroom facility will have heated barrier free washrooms, a food prep kitchen area, wood burning fireplace, BBQ's, griddle and an outside covered picnic area for public events and gatherings. This facility will be fenced off and will be a rentable facility for the general public.
