New construction and renovation of a medical facility in Amarillo, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,843-square-foot medical facility; and for the renovation of a 1,220-square-foot medical facility.

As of May 13, 2019, construction is now underway. The Amarillo Veterans Affairs Health Care System (AVAHCS) will be constructing a new Rehabilitation and Prosthetics Building of approximately 12,000 sf in new construction and approximately 800 sf in existing renovation. Work will include roads and parking lot areas, landscaping, and utilities work, demolition of existing structures and sidewalks and landscaping areas. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let. *This project has been updated for historical data and reference purposes.
