The Los Angeles Board of Public Works signed off on an agreement between the DWP and the city's engineering bureau to update a master plan for the Silver Lake Reservoir and its smaller neighbor, the Ivanhoe Reservoir. This project is in the conceptual phase. A new master plan was rolled out by Los Angeles city officials in August 2020. As of January 10, 2022, a new master plan is under review with the City's Bureau of Engineering. A general contractor has has not bee selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
