Site work for a mixed-use development in Scarborough, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and transportation facility.
The Lakeshore East Corridor - development and construction of West Corridor, is located within the City of Toronto limits from Pape Avenue to Woodbine Avenue. Metrolinx is the sole owner of this section of the Kingston Subdivision Operations within the Lakeshore East Corridor consist of two-way all-day services provided by Metrolinx between Union Station and Oshawa GO Station. The corridor serves the Lakeshore East as well as Stouffville services and operations by VIA, CN Freight. The scope will include utility relocation, construction of retaining walls, storm water management infrastructure and bridge widening and rehabilitation at Woodbine, Warden and Danforth bridges. TIMELINE: A Prequalification was issued by Infrastructure Ontario early 2018. The Lakeshore East (LSE) Corridor Expansion will now be procured as three separate Design-Bid-Build (DBB) packages. The three packages of work break into the following geographic sections: Central Section, Woodbine to Wolcott. West Section: Pape to Woodbine, and East Section: Wolcott to Kennedy. The Central Section will begin first and is followed separately. Further project schedules will be determined pending release of the Design-Bid-Build procurement expected late 2023.
