Site work for a civil project in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work of the project consists of distribution waterlines in the Standing Rock Chapter which will convey drinking water to approximately 30 homes. The pipelines are expected to be primarily 4 inch PVC pipes. The southwest waterline extension includes a total 7.2 miles of distribution line and 2.3 miles transmission line. The southeast extension (Nahodishgish intertie) measures 6.7 miles in length. The project also includes connections to homes from new and existing waterlines made up of approximately 0.5 miles of 1 inch HDPE pipe and 1.0 miles of 2 inch PVC pipe. A new water storage tank and a booster pump building included in the southwest waterline extension. Scope of Work for the Project which are: (a) ordered by Owner pursuant to Paragraph 11.02, (b) required because of Owner’s acceptance of defective Work under Paragraph 14.03 or Owner’s correction of defective Work under Paragraph 14.07, or (c) agreed to by the parties, subject to the need for Engineer’s recommendation if the change in the Work involves the design (as set forth in the Drawings, Specifications, or otherwise), or other engineering or technical matters; and 4. changes in the Contract Price or Contract Times, or other changes, which embody the substance of any final and binding results under Paragraph 11.06, or Article 12. SCOPE OF WORK A. Design, furnish, install, energize, adjust, and test an automatically controlled, impressed current, cathodic protection system, for the interior of a steel reservoir complete as described herein. B. Coordinate related work included in other Sections. C. Cathodic protection system shall include wire, conduit and related appurtenances to complete the connection of the cathodic protection system to the power source and all other related structures and connections. The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: The Tse’ii’ahi (aka Standing Rock) Chapter Waterline Extensions Project consists of distribution waterlines in the Standing Rock Chapter which will convey drinking water to approximately 30 homes. The pipelines are expected to be primarily 4 inch and 2 inch PVC pipes. The southwest waterline extension includes a total of approximately 7.49 miles of 4 inch and 2 inch distribution line and transmission line. The southeast extension (Nahodishgish intertie) measures approximately 7.76 miles of 4 inch and 2 inch distribution line. The project also includes connections to homes from new and existing waterlines made up of approximately 0.7 miles of 1 inch PE pipe. A new water storage tank and a booster pump building included in the southwest waterline extension. The proposed project consists of two main transmission lines (southwest and Nahûdisgish intertîe). The southwest extension measures a total of 10.9 miles (57,340.80 ft.) in length with a 30 ft. wide right-of-way, and the Nahodishgish intertie measures 7.5 miles (39,853.77 ft.) in length wit a 30 ft. wide right-of-way. Thus, the total proposed line length measures 18.4 miles (97,194.57 ft), including easement for a booster pump station and a new water distribution tank, A total of 67 acres of tend will be included in the area of effect. The proposed project consists oftwo main transmission lines (Southwest and Nahodishgish intertie). Both locations are labeled below. The types of disturbance expected include clearing and grubbing, trenching, light blading and surface disturbance from rubber-tired vehicles and heavy machinery used for trenching. Disturbance, both surface and subsurface, with heavy equipment will be extensive and intensive Bidding Documents in electronic media format are furnished to bidding contractors for the sole purpose of preparing bids, and not for construction. The selected construction Contractor shall not rely on files provided in electronic media format for construction, but rather hard copies of such data provided by the Engineer or Owner upon award of the Contract.
