Site work for a water / sewer project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work includes abrasive blasting and recoating of the wet interior and exterior of the Glass Road Standpipe within containment, as well as furnishing and installing a submersible mixer, and other miscellaneous tank and coating improvements. The City Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost for the Work is $538,000. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Contract Time Information Early State Date: April 7th, 2025 Milestones: None Final Completion: June 30th, 2025 Bid Security and Other Bonds Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City.
