Renovation and addition to an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a 15,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; and for the addition of a 30,000-square-foot, three-story above grade, 12-room educational facility.
Addition and alterations to the elementary school building. The scope of the project includes construction of an the addition that will house 11 new elementary and preschool classrooms, a specialized classroom for the arts, a motor room, a space for diners with food services, a staff lounge and a meeting room, new sanitary facilities TIMELINE: Due to funding constraints and the need to make 200-million-dollar budget compression to the school funding system, the Quebec government has put this project on hold for an indefinite period. Timelines for a tender and construction are not finalized. The owner remains ready to continue the construction project. Once the resumption is authorized, a new schedule will be produced. Note. Expansion of Lucille-Teasdale and La Voie schools, in Montreal. The construction program includes the construction of a new pavilion connected to the two schools by service corridors: project of the La Voie school is followed in the report under CRM ID name École Secondaire La Voie Addition and Renovations.
