The project will also include adding additional lighting for fields, replacing and extending fencing, installing a fitness/walking path and the removal of softball scorekeeper stations. The replacement of the lights and fencing is critical as part of the parks' infrastructure to ensure ongoing usage and enjoyment of the park. Installation of the walking path will create opportunities for enhancement of fitness classes. The project will also strongly support the City's bi-annual certification as a Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider. The proposed project site is located inside Tamarac Park at 7501 N. University Drive, Tamarac, FL. 33321 (see site map attached herein as Exhibit B). This project includes developing cost estimates with product specifications, design plans and details, permitting and construction of Tamarac Park Playground Renovation Project in accordance with the terms, conditions and requirements contained in this Request for Proposal (RFP). This park is currently operational and heavily utilized by the community.
