New construction and renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and for the construction of a fitness / recreation center.
Redevelopment of the existing SASCU Recreation Centre, including possible futures for aquatics, recreation and performing arts. TIMELINE: Feasibility Study to present the proposed concept design and to gain approval/direction to inform next steps was completed. Planning and design are in the preliminary conceptual stages, with ongoing public consultations. Two design options are being considered. Scope of work and project timelines are yet to be determined. Updates may be available in early 2026, upon funding approval. *Current project estimates $45.4 million, depending on which design option is selected.
