Redevelopment of the existing SASCU Recreation Centre, including possible futures for aquatics, recreation and performing arts. TIMELINE: Feasibility Study to present the proposed concept design and to gain approval/direction to inform next steps was completed. Planning and design are in the preliminary conceptual stages, with ongoing public consultations. Two design options are being considered. Scope of work and project timelines are yet to be determined. Updates may be available in early summer 2024, upon approvals. *Current project estimates $45.4 million, depending on which design option is selected.
