Location of Work: Town of Millis Massachusetts. The work involves the following major item (s):1. Repair of Sewer Mains and Services at various locations, 2. Repair of Sewer Manhole Frames and Covers Bid Securities shall be in amount of 5% of the bid and in the form of a certified check drawn upon a bank within the State of Massachusetts or a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Massachusetts, made payable to the OWNER. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BOND and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within five (5) days following notification of the acceptance of his Bid. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, to waive any informality on bids received, and to omit any item or items deemed advisable for the best interests of the OWNER. All costs associated with the preparation of the bids shall be the responsibility of the bidder, regardless of whether or not the Contract is awarded.
