PROJECT NUMBER: CSJ 3128-01-013 and CSJ 3131-01-007 KTMPO ID: C40-05 The City of Copperas Cove is soliciting proposals for the construction of the following project: Copperas Cove Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TASA) Program FM 116 & FM 3046 Sidewalks project. The Project is generally described as follows: Construct approximately 4,985 LF of concrete sidewalks along FM 116 and FM 3046 between Business Hwy. 190 and Dennis Street (South Park). Included are curb ramps, driveways, storm drainage structures, hand rails, signage, and grass sod. Written questions may be submitted to the address shown above. This project includes construction of sidewalk improvements for the Copperas Cove Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TASA) Program FM 116 & FM 3046 Sidewalks project. Bidders must submit a cashiers check, certified check, or acceptable bidders bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the City of Copperas Cove in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The City of Copperas Cove reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty(60) days from date on which bids are opened.Note that a three percent (3%) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal has been set by the Texas Department of Transportation on this project.
