THE PROJECT consists of performing all Work and furnishing all labor, materials, tools, plant equipment and incidentals for the Reconstruct Runway 2R/20L, Taxiway Hotel and Connectors in accordance with the details as shown in the Specifications, or as directed by MNAA or its authorized representative. Bidders must be in good standing with the State of Tennessee and be qualified to meet all Local, State and Federal statutes, codes, regulations and ordinances governing the performance of the type of Work for which Bidder is submitting a Bid. Reconstruct Runway 2R/20L, Taxiway Hotel and Connectors will commence in March 2020 with completion within the specified number of calendar days. SCOPE. This project consists of reconstruction in concrete of Runway 2R/20L, Taxiway Hotel, and all connector taxiways H1 through H6. Total reconstruction area is approximately 2,000,000sf. Asphalt shoulders will be added or widened as required. Pavement geometry will be updated to comply with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300-13A, Change 1. All airfield lighting, signage, and electrical infrastructure will be replacement with LEDs. MINIMUM WAGE RATES. Successful Bidders shall be required to pay all mechanics and laborers, employed by contractor and subcontractors, on the Project at least the minimum wage rates established by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. *This project is on hold due to the public health crisis. A new timeline has not been established.
