Project Description The Fulton Pump Mains Replacement Project consists of approximately 3,550 feet of new 20-inch ductile iron pump main that will be used to pump water between the recently constructed Hannah Mason Pump Station and the Burlingame Tanks. The pipeline will primarily be constructed using open cut techniques. However, the alignment includes an approximately 230-foot long section under the I-5 Freeway and an approximately 210-foot long section beneath SW Barbur Blvd (OR-99W) that will require the use of trenchless construction methods. The project also includes the abandoning of approximately 3,180 feet of 10-inch pump main and 3,180 feet of 12-inch pump main between the I-5 right-of-way and the Burlingame Tank Site. McMillen Jacobs is responsible for the design services associated with the 20-inch diameter trenchless crossing of SW Barbur Boulevard (OR-99W), the 20-inch diameter crossing of I-5 Freeway, and the proposed pipeline between these two trenchless crossings.
