Station Construction - 9th & Marion Streets The City of Reading with its Construction Manager, Boyle Construction, are developing a new fire station of approximately 12,000 sf at the intersection of 9th & Marion Streets in the City of Reading (immediately adjacent to the existing firehouse - current playground site). The new station is intended to house five (5) pieces of fire and emergency apparatus. There will be areas for sleeping quarters, laundry, maintenance, storage, office, living, restrooms, gym, etc. There will be no pre-proposal meeting for this project. The City of Reading reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept or reject any part of any proposal. It also reserves the right to waive any technical defects or minor irregularities, which in its discretion, is in the best interest of the City.
