Renovation of a municipal facility in Springfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The estimate of probable cost for this project is $5,160,000.00. Successful bidder will be required to post an acceptable Performance Bond in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If successful bidder fails to enter into a proper contract or defaults in any portion of his bid, the bid guarantee shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. Bid guaranties of unsuccessful bidders will be returned following award of bid. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio in accordance with all provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Ohio, ORC Sections 4115.03 and 4115.16 and related requirements. The apparent successful bidder on any contract exceeding $100,000.00 requiring prevailing wages must submit its two most recent financial statements that have been compiled, reviewed or audited by a licensed Certified Public Accountant within seven days after bid opening date and must certify compliance with the County's financial requirements/tests, a copy of which are included in the bid documents.
