DCED seeks proposals to activate and rehabilitate two existing buildings at a City-owned parcel at 254 Mohawk Street. The Site is located at the northwest corner of Mohawk and Hamburg (formerly known as Stonewall) Streets in Over-the-Rhine and totals approximately .05 acres. The property is located within the incorporated limits of City of Cincinnati and the Mohawk sub-district of the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. The Site contains two buildings constructed between 1850 and 1890. Each building has masonry outer walls and platform joist style structural framing. The building on the south side of the parcel totals 2,820 finished square feet and contains three stories and a basement. The building on the north side totals 2,166 finished square feet and contains three stories with a basement and attic. The buildings are separated by a breezeway. In 2017 the City funded $119,000 in structural repairs to stabilize the buildings. The buildings are offered as-is. DCED makes no representations or warranties as to building conditions. As of January 12, 2021, the Ohio Development Services Agency recently awarded $26,523,083 in Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credits for the rehabilitation of 51 historic buildings.
