Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Brookline, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of January 9, 2020 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined. The work consists of spot blast cleaning the interior coating system, capture and proper disposal of debris, spot paint repair of the interior coating system, replacement of the existing screen mesh on the roof vent, and installing a lockable ladder gate to the existing ladder for roof access. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Prospective bidders must complete a one-time registration process on the web site in order to receive log-in credentials. Bidders must log in to the web site to download bidding documents for the project. Bidders will be added to the "planholders" or prospective bidders list upon downloading the bidding documents for the project. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract. The Contract to be awarded pursuant to the Invitation to Bid will be subject to provisions of the By Laws of the Town of Brookline Article 4.4. Fair Employment Practices with Regard to Contracts, relating to non-discrimination in employment.
