Site work and paving for a civil project in Garland City, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project includes the construction of approximately 13,111 LF of 10" PVC water main, 20 LF of 8" PVC water main, 817 LF of 6" PVC water main, 32 LF of 4" PVC water main, 75 LF of 3" PVC water main, 898 LF of water main bores, 941 LF of 10" HDPE by Horizontal Directional Drilling, and 180 LF of 10" PVC by Unencased Slick Bore Method, connections to existing water mains, tracer wire test stations, fire hydrants, water service lines, service bores, meters, setters, meter boxes. El Dorado Water Utilities reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any non-conforming Bid, to waive defects in any bids, and to award the Contract in a period of time not exceeding 60 days from the Bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm for that period. Bidders must be licensed in compliance with Arkansas Contractor's Law found in Arkansas Code 17-25-101. Bids must comply with Arkansas Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids will be subject to the requirements of the State of Arkansas Procurement Laws and Rules for Competitive Sealed Bidding. The El Dorado Water Utilities encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, as either a general contractor or subcontractor.
