Renovation of a mixed-use development in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 35-room hospitality development.
Scope of work may include renovations to an existing motel building to accommodate a 35-unit Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) facility. TIMELINE: In 2018, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) was awarded a contract to lease and operate this facility. The site was expected to serve as an interim (up to 2 years) PSH Facility under CMHA's management. At this time, CMHA is no longer involved and will not be leasing or operating the building. No tender or construction is expected to ensue. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time.
