Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Faxed or electronic submitted bids will not be accepted. The work consists principally of providing bonds, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the construction of a new container handling storage yard inclusive of all required removal work, fill work, soil improvements, grading and RCC paving work, utilities, electrical distribution, lighting and fencing requirements. Specifications, proposal forms, bid and performance bond forms, and plans are on file in the office of Aptim Port Services, LLC at 3600 Springhill Business Park, Suite 200, Mobile, Alabama 36608. No bid will be considered unless the bidder, whether resident or non-resident of Alabama, is properly qualified to submit a proposal for this work in accordance with all applicable laws of the State of Alabama. This shall include evidence of holding a current license as required from the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama with the classification being appropriate for this type of work. In addition, non-residents of the State must show evidence of having qualified with the Secretary of State to do business in AL. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Alabama State Port Authority may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids received.
