Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kansas City, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project will be completed with a design-build project delivery contract and will reconstruct the pavement, curb, gutter, and sidewalks on Wornall Road from Gregory Boulevard to 75th Street. This will include the addition of sidewalks in areas that currently do not exist. A design-build reconstruction requires the entire funding to be provided to complete the project. These funds must be allocated to complete the improvements. The pavement for this portion of Wornall Road is in serious condition and needs to be replaced. Sidewalks will be included as per the Walkability Plan and pedestrian bus stop pads will also be constructed. The pavement will include recycled materials and additional trees will be planted. This street is included as a priority in the Country Club Waldo Area Plan. As of July 27 2021, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2026 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
