Site work for a water / sewer project in Brentwood, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Water Master Plan identified this project as a priority to improve system operation and efficiency. This project will either upgrade the existing 12" water main in O'Hara Ave., between Lone Tree Way and O'Hara Lane, with 1,300 LF of 24" water main or paralleled with a 16" water main due to high flow rates. Also, this project will either upgrade the existing 8" water main in Lone Tree Way, between Brentwood Boulevard and Well #14, with an approximately 700 LF of 12" water main or paralleled with an 8" water main due to high flow rates. As of July 11, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2022/23 - FY 2026/27 CIP. Per the owner, they have not started design yet. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2025. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
