Pre-Bid Meeting Information: None Description: Town of Port Wing Waste Water Treatment Pond - Wetland Restoration Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the: Excavation of approximately 12,600 CY of soil material from the existing abandoned wastewater treatment pond berms: Removal and disposal of miscellaneous existing culverts and fence: Installation, maintenance, removal, and disposal of approximately 3,850 LF of temporary silt fence Placement of approximately 8,300 CY of excavated berm soil material within the proposed wetland areas in accordance with the drawings; Placement and compaction of approximately 2,300 CY of excavated berm soil material along the proposed access road in accordance with the drawings; Hauling and off-site disposal of approximately 2,000 CY of existing berm material; Placement of approximately 4,250 CY of Salvaged Wetland (Hydric) soils on graded soil surfaces below elevation 604.0 (hydric soils provided by the Town Placement of approximately 11,000 SY of Topsoil on graded soil surfaces above elevation 604.0 (topsoil provided by the Contractor per Section 01 20 00); Placement of approximately 2,250 SY of ABC Stone along proposed access road and parking areas; Installation of 8 - 12" diameter culvert crossings and 1 - 24" diameter culvert crossing; Seeding of cover crop and straw mulching of approximately 13,500 SY of disturbed area.
