JEA is soliciting bids from approved Responsible Bidders for construction services to install 11,000 LF of 16-inch PVC DR18 reclaimed water main by open cut method, 140 LF of 30-inch steel casing under US Hwy 17N, and 230 LF of 30-inch steel casing by the bore and jack method under CSX railroad right of way in Nassau County. All questions must be submitted in writing to the JEA Buyer listed below at least five (5) business days prior to the opening date. For Procurement Related Questions: Buyer: Dan Kruck E-mail: krucdr@jea.com For Technical Questions: Contact: Maria Betancur JEA is soliciting Bids from construction contractors (hereinafter referred to as “Company or Contractor”) for construction services for Nassau Reclaimed Water Main - Radio Ave to Harts Rd Project (the “Work” or “Services”.) A. This request is to solicit bids for construction services to install 11,000LF of 16-inch PVC DR18 reclaimedwater main by open cut method, 140 LF of 30-inch steel casing under US Hwy 17N and 230 LF of 30-inch steel casing by the bore and jack method under CSX railroad right of way in Nassau County. The new main will provide system reliability, reduce the reclaimed water discharge from the Nassau WRF to the Yulee wetlands and allow reuse water implementation for future developments in the area. The new main will connect to the Nassau WRF Outfall; continue along the FPL transmission easement, turn east on Radio Ave and go along south on US Hwy 1; turn east on Commercial Park Dr, cross the CSX ROW and continue north along Harts Rd up to the William Burgess Rd intersection. B. The Company shall strictly follow JEA’s Water and Wastewater Standards Manual, issued January, 2018 or latest version, during the construction of the improvements. Contractor shall use a Request for Information in the event of a discrepancy. C. The Company shall follow and comply with Nassau County Municipal Code Appendix D: Roadway and Drainage Standards Ordinance 99-017 E. The duration of work from the notice to proceed will be two hundred and forty (240) days until substantial completion and two hundred and seventy (270) days until final completion.
