Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lubbock, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 50,600-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
As of March 29, 2022, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Without force or effect, Work of Project consists of a new police headquarters building totaling 50,600 square feet. Work includes vertical building construction, site work, landscape work, paving and site utilities. Site utilities will include new underground electrical and plumbing work. Site paving will include traffic rated asphalt paving and sidewalks. New construction will have an exterior walls assembly of cold formed metal studs, sheathing, liquid applied air barrier, rigid insulation, face brick, terra cotta panels, and ACM panels. Roofing construction will consist of structural steel framing and steel deck covered by rigid roof and tapered insulation and a TPO roofing membrane. Interior systems will include but not limited to drywall partitions, suspended drywall and lay-in ceilings, miscellaneous metals, ceramic tile, flooring finishes and glazed demountable partitions.
