**As of 03/22/2019, the project start date will be first week of May and end date will be end of June. The proposed work consists of the construction of two (2) separate, but identical, single-story buildings for Salt/Sand Storage at the Old Steel Bridge Pit in Flathead County. Each building will be 50' wide x 110' long and will have 12'0" high exposed concrete walls with 9'0" tall conventional wood framed (2"x8") walls and conventional premanufactured metal plated wood trusses with stainless steel connectors. The additive alternative work consists of preparing surfaces and applying Baracade Silane 40 IPA to the concrete walls and floors. Work at the site is to commence within 10 calendar days after the written Notice to Proceed is issued. Completion of the work is required within Seventy-five (75) consecutive calendar days following commencement of work and must be completed by June 10th, 2019. The project includes liquidated damages that will be assessed as set forth in the Special Provisions per calendar day if the work is not complete within the allotted contract time. Each bidder will be required to be registered with the State of Montana's Department of Labor and Industry prior to bidding this project. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of 60 days after the date for opening bids. Flathead County reserves the right to reject all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, irregular, nonresponsive or conditional Bids.
