Project involves the modernization of the elevator at the Northeast State Service Center in Wilmington, Delaware. The scope of work consists of the replacement of elevator equipment with new components in the elevator, elevator machine room and elevator pit. Also there is work performed at each floor outside the elevator doors. Refer to specifications section 14 20 10 Passenger Elevator for more detail. The elevator serves three levels: the main egress level; one-half story above the egress level; and one-half story below the egress level. Sealed bids shall be addressed to the Division of Facilities Management, 540 S. DuPont Highway, Suite 1 (Third Floor), Dover, DE 19901. The outer envelope should clearly indicate:"OMB/DFM Contract No. MC3512000011 - Northeast State Service Center - Elevator Modernization - Sealed Bid - Do Not Open." The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Owner may extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement, with not less than two calendar days notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders receiving plans.
