As of 4/22, City Council of City of McKinney approved an award of (not to exceed) $290,000 for the pre-construction services through the design development phase including the development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price for full design and construction services. Awarded vendor is Pogue Construction. **** The solicitation for Design/Build Services for the Dr Pepper StarCenter Expansion Project was a RFQ (Request for Qualifications). They are not soliciting cost just qualifications of firms that provide design build services. The evaluation of the submittals is still underway and no award has been made. The City of McKinney is seeking a Design / Build firm (D/B) to perform typical and complete Design / Build services in conjunction with the design and construction of an expansion of the existing Dr Pepper Star Center working with the City staff and any appropriate consultants. The City of McKinney cannot guarantee, due to internal mail delivery procedures that any submittals sent priority mail will be picked up from the post office by city mail employees and delivered to the Purchasing Department by the closing date and time. It is recommended that submittal deliveries be made either in person or via an alternate delivery method ensuring delivery to the physical address.
