As of December 21 2021 there is no awarded bidder on this project yet. The project contemplated consists primarily of: o Approximately 226,000 cubic yards of excavation for the initial construction of a floodwater detention basin, including hauling the majority of the excavated material to an Owner-designated site in Oak Creek; o Excavation and management of approximately 75 cubic yards of environmentally impacted soil including hauling and disposal at a WDNR-approved landfill; o Control of water during construction; o Construction of concrete pavement and fencing at the site entrance adjacent to South 6th Street; o Modifications to existing storm sewers and installation of the storage basin outlet pipeline; o Placement of topsoil and approximately 11 acres of native lowland and upland seeding; o A four-year vegetation maintenance period which may be assigned at Owner's sole discretion to a separate pre-approved subcontractor at the completion of the applicable construction milestone as specified; o All other related work. The time of completion of the Contract not including the four-year maintenance period shall be three hundred sixty-five (365) days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The time for completion of the Contract including the maintenance period shall be one thousand eight hundred twenty five (1,825) days from the date of Notice to Proceed.
