This project addresses capital needs at the Pease Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). Parts of this plant date back to the original 1950s construction and are beyond their useful life. Design and construction of an upgrade of the Headworks at the WWTF is ongoing with previous years' funding. These costs are for upgrades to the aging facility and to meet anticipated new NPDES permit limits. The City continues to work with Industrial Users to address upgrades necessary to meet their capacity needs. The schedule, scope and costs of this work will be coordinated with the industries that discharge to the WWTF. As of April 25, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2028 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
