Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Elevated Tank No. 3 - Cleaning, Painting and Lighting project consists of complete removal and disposal of the existing lighting system; setup and maintenance of temporary containment; cleaning and blasting the existing tank support structure, exterior and interior surfaces, and all ancillary surfaces (ladders, platforms, railings, hatches, etc.); preparation of all surfaces for coatings; application of primer, base, intermediate, and top coat painting system to all surfaces (except for climbing cable, which shall be protected or removed and reinstalled after painting); installation of new lighting system; final restoration, cleaning and testing; and placing back into operation the completed elevated leg tank and lighting system, and related items. Details are provided in Volume 3 of this IFB. Bidders should note that the City has MBE goals for all contracts that exceed $100,000.
