Site work for a civil project in New Tecumseth, Ontario. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Expand the existing single-cell Mill Street Reservoir and Pump Station in the Community of Tottenham by way of adding a second reservoir cell approximately 800m3 in size in order to allow for additional buffering for the blending of existing Tottenham well water with the extended transmission main water noted above complete with associated interim/ permanent interconnecting piping and control equipment/ instrumentation; to increase the required chlorine contact time; and to provide additional reservoir capacity redundancy for operations and maintenance purposes. Structural repair and modification improvements to the existing reservoir cell will also be required. TIMELINE: The consultant has completed the Class EA and Detailed design for the Tottenham Transmission Main as well as cell upgrades and repairs to the existing Mill Street Reservoir. Capital funding has been allocated for construction in the 2024 capital plan, tenders are anticipated early 2025. *The first tender has been issued for the Tottenham Water Transmission Main and Associated Works and is followed separately.
