Reference Number 0000196115 Source ID PU.AG.USA.1076.C8981201 Duration: 3 years Option: 2 additional 1 year Piggyback Contract No The County of Orange is seeking to retain an experienced and qualified professional engineering firm to provide services relating to a Food Scraps Composting Facility to be located on a lot adjacent to Orange County Transfer Station #1 located at 21 Training Center Lane, Goshen, NY (or another location within Orange County, NY, as may be identified by the County). The selected offeror (Consultant) shall develop a design approvable by the NYSDEC. Expected services will also include site layout and design with special attention being paid to compliance to recently adopted revisions to 6 NYCRR Part 360, notably Sections 361-3.4, 361-3.5 ande 361-4. Consultant shall also be tasked with providing civil design specifications, site maps and schematics, specifications for materials and contracting services for the County to bid, preparation of an operation and maintenance guide for meeting permitting requirements and best management practices, diagram templates for monitoring, and identifying any applicable proprietary equipment required for Aerate Static Pile composting. All services to be provided by Consultant shall comply with relevant requirements for a NYSDEC Permitted Food Scraps Composting Facility, including, but not limited to, those requires under 6 NYCRR Part 361-3.
