As of February 7, 2022, a consultant was awarded and the conceptual design is complete. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: CU Denver PN16-106175-AHEC Eng&Physical Science Bldg- Proj Description: CU Denver seeks the services of a qualified firm to work with CU Denver and the College of Eng and Applied Sciences (CEAS). There are 2 parts to the proj:1. New, 60,000 GSF bldg for CEAS that is part of the Eng and Physical Sciences (EPS) proj. The EPS proj is the #1capital priority for CU Denver. The new bldg will be located in CU Denveras institutional neighborhood near the intersection of Speer Blvd & Arapahoe St. just south of the Auraria Science Bldg. This bldg will be referred to as PHASE II (see Appendix B).2. New,135,000 GSF phase2 bldg for CEAS to be located adjacent to, or adjoined to, the 60,000GSF bldg.(PHASE II). Minimum Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrate, at minimum, a 5-year history of successfully designing science, engineering and technology projects in higher education and projects of similar programmatic usage. Demonstrate a history of working collaboratively, with multiple and diverse user groups, to design successful interdisciplinary/inter-professional facilities. Must have a license to practice Architecture and Engineering in the State of Colorado. Demonstrate experience with Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) projects. Must complete Appendix C, Acknowledgement and Attestation Form. Must acknowledge receipt of all addenda to the RFQ with their submittal. Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading the design of a higher education science, engineering and or technology building within the last three years.
