Site work and paving for a road / highway in Soldotna, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Gravel upgrade of Neighbors Road, Ral Street, Scenic View Loop, Koala Lane, Ballard Drive, Frost St, Noatak Way, Ylmaki Way, Nurmi Drive, Finland Lane, and Dossow Street. Work will include, but not be limited to, capping the existing roads 0.5' deep with RSA TYPE II Borrow. Results from a current gradation test must be submitted prior to work commencing. A gradual transition will be required at each end of the project. No excavation is proposed. Borrow must be compacted to at least 95% compaction of the maximum density. All work will comply with KPB Chapter 14.06 Road Standards, and applicable sections of the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities "STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION 2004. The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough to place gravel on the following North, Central and West region roads: North Region: 4,000 cubic yards (Nikiski area) Central Region: 3,000 cubic yards (Funny River area) West Region: 3,000 cubic yards (Kasilof area) Allows zero unit prices and labor Yes Allows negative unit prices and labor Yes Q&A Deadline: 8/10/2018 5:00 PM Bid Bond Acknowledgement If my bid is less than $100,000.00, I agree to omit a Bid Bond.
