The Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries Division - Washington State Ferries (WSF) is initiating the Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Review phase of the SR160/Fauntleroy Terminal - Trestle and Transfer Span Replacement Project. The purpose of the project is to address the deficiencies of the aging and seismically vulnerable Fauntleroy terminal in West Seattle in order to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient service and connections to Vashon Island, Southworth, and communities on the Kitsap Peninsula and beyond. With a total budget of $93 million, the project is included in the Transportation Plan approved by the Legislature in 2018; it is expected to be operationally complete by 2027. UDBE, SBE, or MSVWBE Participation This agreement will be subject to a 6% UDBE goal. The selected consultant will be required to submit a UDBE Written Confirmation Form for approval prior to commencement of work. WSDOT encourages disadvantaged, small, minority, veteran and women-owned consultant firms to respond to this RFQ. WSDOT reserves the right to ask for additional qualifying information, conduct interviews and/or select the highest scoring consultant(s) from the written qualification packets received as a result of this RFQ. Any questions regarding this RFQ should be directed to WSDOT's Headquarters Consultant Services Office at CSOSubmittals@wsdot.wa.gov or 360-704-6397.
