**As of March 6, 2020 this project has not yet been awarded. As of this time project is under advisement. Sealed BIDS are invited by the LCTCS Facilities Corporation from contractors for repair, alteration or construction of Sowela Technical Community College Culinary, Gaming & Hospitality Center The successful Bidder is allowed 456 calendar days to complete the Project from the date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,500 for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not substantially complete and $1,500 for each consecutive calendar day for which all of the work listed on the punch list is not complete. Contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated in the Instruction to Bidders. No offer may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the date of the bid opening. The LCTCS Facilities Corporation reserves the right to award the project on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner and to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities No Bid will be considered or accepted unless the bid is accompanied by a bid security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid and all additive alternates
