Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Temecula, California. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Furnish and install traffic signal system on Temecula Parkway at Wabash Lane complete and in place, including internally illuminated street name signs, safety lighting, emergency vehicle pre-emption, traffic signal loop detectors, signing, striping, modification to existing curb ramps, and modification to existing medians. Construct an access road off of Temecula Parkway at Wabash Lane to the existing park and ride facility that is located just east of La Paz Road, close off access to the park and ride facility at Vallejo Avenue, and reconfigure a portion of the east end of the existing park and ride site to accommodate the access road. Work includes excavation and fill, grading, construction of storm drain improvements, curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt concrete pavement, retaining walls, fencing, signing and striping, landscape and irrigation, and construction surveying. REQUIREMENT TO MITIGATE THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 The Contractor and all subcontractors for the Work shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, Riverside County, and City of Temecula statutes, regulations, orders, and ordinances. This requirement specifically includes, without limitation, compliance with the Safety and Health Guidance COVID-19 Infection Prevention in Construction issued by the California Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Occupational Safety and Health and Safety on July 20, 2020 and as may be amended from time to time by the Department, relating to mitigating the transmission of COVID-19 on the project site and mitigating the transmission of COVID-19 by employees or workers of Contractor and its subcontractors in their contacts with City employees and consultants. Prior to the pre-construction meeting, the Contractor shall submit to the City a COVID-19 Mitigation Program implementing these requirements and shall post the COVID-19 Mitigation Program on the project site in a manner designated by the Citys Project Manager. The failure of employees or workers of the Contractor and all subcontractors on the Work to comply with these requirements shall be a default per Section 6-7.1. Contractor acknowledges that, in the event that the Engineer suspends the Work as a result of such failure by Contractor or one of its subcontractors to comply with these requirements, City is not responsible for the delay, and the Contractor is not entitled to compensation pursuant to Section 6-4.3. The Contractor shall also pay to the City the costs and expenses incurred by the City resulting from the failure of employees of the Contractor and all subcontractors on the Work to comply with these requirements including, but not limited to, the salaries and benefits for City employees who are unable to work, and workers compensation benefits and expenses. Delays in the Work resulting from Contractors or its subcontractors failure to cmply with these regulations shall not be considered an unforeseen event entitling Contractor to an extension of time or payment for delay pursuant to Section 6-4 of the Standard Specifications.
