Renovation of a municipal facility in Brandon, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Scope of Work 1. The Contractor shall: a. Remove existing doors and frames and prepare all areas for new installation. b. Be responsible for all preparation work required for the new installation. c. Obtain their own measurements of door and frame sizes. d. Supply for all doors commercial door closers and hardware such as hinges, weather strip, and all other required appurtenances. 2. Double doors and frames: a. Quantity: two (2) b. Double door size: i. One door approximately 47.75"(w)x83"(h) ii. One door approximately 35.5"(w)x83"(h) c. 6"x20" Georgian wire glass or equivalent window insert CSA approved and fire rated. 3. Single doors and frames: a. Quantity: seven (7) b. Single door size: 35.5"(w)x83"(h) c. Two (2) doors to have 6"x20" Georgian wire glass or equivalent window CSA approved and fire rated. d. One (1) door to be equipped with a panic bar. 4. All doors: a. Shall be commercial grade insulated able to withstand high traffic and rugged use. b. Shall have a minimum 90 minute fire rating. Indicate fire rating on the Bid Form c. Shall be steel. Indicate gauge on Bid Form. d. Doors and frames to be primed. e. Existing door handle and locking mechanisms to be reinstalled. f. Exterior doors require frames and thresholds. 5. The City shall: a. Provide new lever door locks for the doors will be supplied by the City for installation by the Contractor. * This project is being re-tendered. Scope of work may have changed.
