Some lighting and door access systems require upgrading to address the security needs of the facility, improving controlled access within the building. This project is being rescheduled to FY 2024/25 and will be phased over six years, now ending in FY 2029/30. The lighting control system comprised of GE total control and Lutron systems will be upgraded for the majority of the campus, excluding ACC North. This lighting control will update the current network infrastructure and consistency of product. Projects planned for FY 2027/28 and beyond include (1) the updating of the Grand Plaza River’s blue light fixtures, and replacing with fixtures that are weather resistant and able to withstand being submersed, and (2) replacing the high intensity discharge lighting (HID) in the halls with more efficient 150 watt LED’s which may include short term payback, return on investment, and decreased utility costs. Project is included in the City of Anaheim's FY 2024-2028 CIP. As of July 1, 2024, information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available.
