Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. There is no physical public bid opening for this project, bids will be revealed via the PennBid website. A uniform fee of 0.333% ( of 1 percent) of the bid amount (up to $5,000) is applied only to bidders who are awarded contracts. No fees apply to bidders who submit without being awarded the contract. All interested parties must submit questions via the web based system, by the posted deadline for questions. Bidders are not permitted to contact the Township Engineer or staff directly. Site Location: The project site is located in the Township ofUpper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The site is located at the 300 Block ofEdmonds Avenue, and includes the intersection of Edmonds Avenue with Randolph Street. The Township of Upper Darby is performing roadway rehabilitation, parking lot resurfacing, and firehouse driveway rehabilitation along the 300 Block of Edmonds Avenue, in front of Garrettford-Drexel Hill Volunteer Fire Company. The roadway rehabilitation work consists of, but is not limited to, the following work: Mill and overlay ofthe 300 Block of Edmonds Avenue and the intersection of Edmonds Avenue and Randolph Street, reconstruction of concrete sidewalks and curbs, and ADA compliant curb ramp construction at the intersection. The scope of work is more fully described in the Project Specifications herein and on the Project Plans. The parking lot resurfacing includes, but is not limited to, the following work: Mill and overlay of sections of three parking lots associated with the fire company, as well as limited signing and striping as detailed on the plans and in accordance with PennDOT Pub. No. 383 and the Manual ofUniform Traffic Control Devices. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or after a date to be specified in written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the project within 90 consecutive calendar days thereafter as stipulated in the specifications. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $ 250 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in Article 13-D. of the General Conditions.
