The existing system is a double sheath type system (hot and cold). The system is showing signs of obsolescence and non-compliance with current standards. The current project therefore aims to replace the current S1 system with a new system that will include energy efficiency measures. Since the current S1 system must be in operation during the installation and commissioning of the new system, a non-restrictive work phasing is presented in the scope of work below: Phase 1 : Dismantling of the S2 system that feeds the mechanical room to free up space for the installation of the S1 system. Installation of the new S2 system and full commissioning. Installation of supply and return ventilation ducts of the mechanical room. New fresh air inlet for the S4 system to the roof. Phase 2 : Installation of the new S1 system. Phase 3 : Connection of the services of the new S1 system and commissioning. Installation of the heat pump which will exchange heat between the hot and cold supply ducts. Phase 4 : Dismantling the existing S1 system and modifying the ventilation ducts. Phase 5 : Cleaning the ventilation units and ventilation ducts of the entire establishment. The cleaning will be carried out outside the normal hours of operation of the building. The scope of work including modifications to the ventilation system, cooling / heating water, fire protection, natural gas, domestic water, drainage, electricity, control, structure, excavation / embankments and architecture are described on the plans and specifications of the various disciplines attached. An amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid and in the form determined below: - A bid bond issued by a financial institution valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the bid opening date; or - A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager; or - An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, a savings or credit union or a trust or savings company and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Manager's "Irrevocable Guarantee Letter" form.
