Renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 22,669-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.

The site is located at 360 Hollywood Ave, North York, immediately to the west of Bayview Ave - north Hollywood Ave. The goal of the project is to Construct a new 4 classroom and a 5 room Childcare, 2 story addition and a new single story gym addition to address accommodation pressures at Hollywood Public School. The addition is designed as two separate wings with a total area of 2,099 square meters. Due to an easement on the property the location of the addition was forced to be built over the existing parking lot which in turn required a new parking lot to be constructed on the northeast end of the site adjacent to Estelle Ave. The addition school design has incorporated the following conditions: - A typical 2-storey school addition with 4 regular classrooms, - A 5-room childcare - This is a multi-phased project - Interior renovations required to connect the new addition to the existing facility - A new single story gym addition - Exterior site improvements Please note that the above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of works that are to be performed, rather a general overview of the project. The project is to be tentatively scheduled to be tendered Fall of 2022. Construction is anticipated to begin Spring of 2023, with anticipated Completion date of July 2024.
