Working plans call for the addition of a 3,668-square-foot military facility; for the demolition of a military facility; for the renovation of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.

As of May 10, 2019, this project remains on hold pending budgetary issues. A timeline for rebidding and construction has yet to be announced. ***Bids Received were Rejected*** Construction of a new pre-engineered metal building addition to the existing shop / maintenance facility. - Approximate area – 3,668 square feet. Concrete and asphalt paving to provide access to the building expansion. Mechanical and electrical upgrades to serve the new portion of the building. New air compressor with connections to existing air lines and installation of bulk oil service equipment. Overhead coiling doors into the new service bays with a bid alternate to replace existing overhead coiling doors. Work shall include repair to any building components including walls, roofs, ceilings, floors, landscaping, roads, lawns, etc. which may become damaged during the construction. All repairs shall be complete and shall be sufficient to return the items to complete functional condition. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding $50,000.00 must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975.
