Site work for a water / sewer project in South Palm Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project was identified in the Town-wide Stormwater Pump Station Condition Assessment Report as requiring improvements. The improvements include: changing the flap gates, replacement of exterior lighting, replacement of station control panel. For consideration based on age/life expectancy: replacement of the pumps and cans, discharge sheeting and rip-rap, instruments and controls. As of January 19, 2022, this project is included in the Town of Palm Beach FY 2022 CIP. An engineer has been selected for the project. Information regarding the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to May of 2022. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
